Vickie's dress was a really nice double knit polyester while the other red shirts were just a simpler ponte knit. The blue was a similar knit that we managed to find in a small silk shop in Little Saigon in the Anaheim area. The captain's tunic was actually a polyester weave but had some stretchiness on the bias to compensate for lack of being a knit. We had no desire to go with or search for a velour (but hey, that's just me.) ;)
